And just that quickly...she's gone!

We found little Zoey's family. She lives on the next street over. We were posting our fliers when a car stopped and told us who they thought she belonged to. So we rang the doorbell and they were so happy. We changed her collar and I asked them for her real collars color and they got it right. Well, don't be too sad for us. I was on the fence about her anyway. A puppy is a lot of work and this one had TONS of energy. She peed inside all the time without warning. We did start working with her on potty training outside though. This family found her in the road a while back and said they were just getting her back to health and might not keep her. I'm not holding my breath but there is a small chance they will give her back to us. Their kids have become attached and if they were not keeping her why not give her to us now. So I think they will keep her. I hope you enjoyed the pics and video. She was a cute little thing.

P.S. Kassie and Aria are a little happier now. (ooo...what will they do if we get her back?)

Look how fast Zoey eats

I have to feed the 2 girls separately because Zoey eats her food and then immediately goes for Kassie's. Kassie holds back from eating cause she is her typical self and is afraid of all the commotion. They play around outside but Kassie acts like the teenager who can't get rid of her kid sis. Last night they were laying on Kassie's bed together but this morning after I took Z out of her crate she went straight for the bed and Kassie ran to me and lay on the floor next to me. Z looked so small in the middle of Kassie's monster bed.

Meet Zoey

We have a new puppy who we named Zoey. She looks like she is about 3 months old. She is a Jack Russell mix but my friend Erin says she's a Beagle. Chuck found her in our garage on his way out to the vet of all places. So he took her with him thinking he could find the owner by having the chip scanned. No chip, no tags. We are going to put up fliers and a notice in the vets office but if no one replies she's MINE!!!!!!!!! At least she will have a name even if it's temporary. The other kids are doing OK with this. Aria hid all day but Kassie was fine. Kassie is still on medicine for her belly and wearing her neck brace. Poor thing.

Kassie has a rash on her belly and this is her "cone" to keep her from licking. She looks poor and miserable. Amazingly she still lets me love on her but clearly she is not the happiest.

Rhonda's Shower
