Project 365 ~ Week 39
This week we are staying at my aunt and uncles house while we wait for ours to be finished. It's been fun finding my daily photo here. My aunt is an amazing gardener and we are also super close to Mission Bay.
1. My aunts Plumeria.
2. This hummingbird sits here all day guarding the feeder nearby. She's a bit selfish! It's fun to watch her though.
3. Gorgeous flower.
4. A carriage house behind a neighbors house. I got this from an alley behind the house.
5. I'm all about pretty weeds.
6. Cactus. You should see my aunts cactus garden. Crazy!
7. Tonight's sliver moon. Not the best shot of the moon. I need to try again when I can use my tripod.
Still Life Standouts
I took this photo of a plumeria flower at my aunts house. We have been staying with them while we wait for our house to be finished. My aunt has got some mad skilz with gardening!!!

Our house is almost ready!
We've signed our loan papers so they should be processed by Monday. They are letting us move furniture in on Saturday. Yay, our projected 4 weeks only took 3! Gotta love that. Thanks to everyone who prayed for Chuck while he battled an infection in his kidney port. He's on the mend and feeling so much better. He's even worked a bit this week. Nothing like being homeless with a medical emergency.
Now that I am comfortably settled in my aunt and uncles house(not air conditioned but they live a couple blocks off of Mission Bay so it's nice and cool) I thought I would share a few more pics from the big camp-out at the lake.
The end!

Project 365 ~ Week 38
1. They are using helicopters to put up new electrical towers and their staging site is near our campground. One day we drove by to see what was going on. They drone on ALL DAY LONG...one after the other after the other. Coming and going. Anywho, I liked the colors of this one.
2. It's been so hot during the day. I just had to take Kassie to the beach.
3. The best part of camping at a lake is that every day there is something new to photograph. This day I found cattails.
4. Hmmm...these are everywhere. I can't tell if they were a nice plant that went crazy or if it's just a pretty weed.
5. Found this just today. There was a whole huge group of them by the docks.
6. Hubs spent 3 days in the hospital this week for an infection in his dialysis port. Fun times! This was the day he was released.
7. I've never seen this flower before. It's from a eucalyptus tree. It was full of bees too.
Update on my crazy life...
Life is never simple right?
So, after a couple of days camping hubs got an infection in his dialysis port. The infection is called Peritonitis. He ended up in the hospital for 3 days and out of work the whole week. The doctors didn't want to release him until we had other accommodations. My aunt and uncle stepped up to the plate and made room for him/us in their house. He went there yesterday evening while my mom and I stayed on at the campground. We are breaking camp in the morning. My mom leaves Sunday for a 10 day vacation to Boston. I'll be joining hubs at my aunts house. So much for 30 days of camping. We will have made it to 11 days in camp. Other than it being really hot during the day it's been okay.
The house is coming along. What might hold us up is the typical paperwork. They can't fully process the loan until the house is finished and ready to go. It has to have a county inspection. I thought we might get keys by early next week. Now I'm not so sure. Grrrrr!!! Faith! I just need to have faith.
This is what I want to do for the unseeable future! (and because I couldn't have a pictureless post.)

Project 365 ~ Weeks 35, 36 and 37
I know this is not the best way to participate in this weekly meme. All I can really say is life happens and moving sucks! I will strive to do better from here on out.
So, these last few weeks I have managed to take my pictures but have had no time to sit and edit and compile them into a collage. Now we are camping and I have nothing but time! I'm not out in the wilds on a vacation. We are camping near the city. In fact, the campground is only a mile from our house. The purpose is that we are removing our old house from the property and replacing it with a new home. We need to be close but a cheap yucky motel was not an option for me! We are not even roughing it. We have electric, water in camp, free wifi. What more can a girl want? I even have a real mattress in my tent. Roughing it indeed!

1. My niece at the Boardwalk.
2. Playing with instagram on my phone.
3. Our neighbors "horny" pig.
4. Lately we have had the most gorgeous sky's.
5. Driving around I saw this cool plant.
6. This plant looks like a firework went off. So pretty even when it's brown.
7. Lots of cactus apples!
2. Bougainvillea abounds in these here parts.
3. And other plants too!
4. My neighbor across the street. Jayden just turned 1 this week.
5. Okay, this is a total cheat. Hubs took this on his iphone. He was at the opening Chargers game and was on the field(6 feet away) during the national anthem. That's Colbie Caillet in the yellow dress. It pays to be in the sound industry!
6. Mmmmm...breakfast.
7. My mom's pet frog!
2. The lake near our house and where we are camping.
3. SD Sheriff helicopter.
4. Our campsite. I took 6 photo's and manually stitched them together in photoshop.
5. The first day they started to tear down the old house.
6. The second day they removed the old house from the property.
7. The third day they brought the new house in.

The House Has Arrived...
Today, they brought in the new house. They have a lot left to do to make it livable but it's at least on the property. Our whole block was out watching the spectacle today.
Our camp site. I took six photo's and stitched them together manually in photoshop.
The empty but cleaned up lot.
The first section coming in.
Here comes the second section.
It was a tight squeeze.
Yikes!
Soooo close!
Happy to say they did it with no damages!

Going Going Gone...
We thought it would take a few days for the tear down and then the pull out. Yesterday, as shown in previous pictures, they did the tear down. Today they did the pull out. We have been told that the new house will come in tomorrow. This is super fast. We were told it could take a month but now it's looking like it will be closer to 2 weeks...if that. So exciting.
This is the first half. It was already out when we showed up.
Here is our lot with the second half waiting to go.
My mom!
I asked for them to dig me a swimming pool but.....
The new house being readied for the road.
