1. Would you rather bungee jump or sky dive? Yeah...hmmm...NEITHER!!!

2. When using a public restroom to you squat over the seat or sit? I will wipe the seat down and use a paper cover if available then I sit. People who sqaut leave a mess behind them and they never clean it up.

3. Favorite flower? Any my husband wants to buy me.

4. Pedicure or manicure? Ooooo....a pedicure. Sounds lovely right about now.

5. How many siblings do you have? 1 brother and 1 sister...both older.

6. Do you pee in the shower? (gasp!) wha...say what??? Ummmm....hehe...of course not!

7. Bikini, tankini, or one piece? one piece

8. Where do you hate to shop at, but go there anyway? 99 cent store. Sometimes you just have to go but I hate that place.

Busy little bee...

Ha! This project has been in the works for a loooong time. I first talked about it during the tour of homes with Kelly's Korner. Rose's bed is in our living room and I wanted to wrap the under loft in curtains to give her privacy and so I would not have to look at her mess. She came in July!!! I just finished sewing and hanging the curtains last night. The curtains are 2 sided. Pink on the inside and tan outside. Plus I made the top part to fit around the bars and to still lay flat.

Now that I have a DSLR I wanted to be as kewl as the rest of the bloggers sporting a neato slip cover for their camera strap. So, did I go to etsy and buy one??? Heck no! I made this baby myself. Not a bad picture considering the strap is ON Zoey and I used Zoey to take the pic.

What was hubs doing? A puzzle...of course!

A New Look!

My blog got an "extreme makeover". Do you like it? This is the first time someone else has done my blog. I used Masto Mama and she was awesome to work with. Another big change is I got a custom domain name. It has been bothering me for a long time to have our family name in the url. Now the url is the name of my blog...www.kassiesbeach.com. My old url will still route here though. It will take a few days for the new url to completely take affect. The biggest reason for the new look is to have a wider blogging surface for bigger pictures. My old blog had one of the narrowest blogging surfaces EVER! Please leave Kassie some puppy kisses letting her know what you think. Don't hesitate to go see Carla for a new look. She has fair prices and is really fast.

1. How often do you wash/change your sheets? Not nearly as often as I should. At the earliest...weekly. The longest it's been is about a month. Don't judge!
2. When is your birthday? September 5
3. Have you ever met a bloggy friend in real life? Only the bloggy friends I already knew before I started. I have not met any new friends from blogland...yet!
4. Brad Pitt or George Clooney? Both please!
5. If you could change one thing about your body what would it be? Besides the obvious??? I would cure my psoriasis. It's a pain to deal with.
6. How often do you wash your hair? Daily...because of the psoriasis. Or I get an itchy scalp.
7. Do you have pets? Yup I do!

8. How many social networks do you belong to..if you had to give up one, what would it be? I blog and I Facebook. I already gave one up. I gave up Myspace because it kinda sucked the big one! I'm not giving up the other two. I'M NOT...I'M NOT...I'M NOT!!!

Beach Day...Continued

The waves at the beach on Tuesday were the highest I have ever seen them. There were tons of surfers in the water taking advantage of this high surf. Check out the curl on that wave.

We drove over to the Ocean Beach Pier. The waves were so high they were hitting the underside of the pier. A homeless man was feeding these birds popcorn. I kept moving away from him and he kept moving down too. So the birds kept flying in front of me as I took pictures.

Next, we drove to Point Loma to enjoy the views as it was the most gorgeous day ever. We stopped at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. It is just neat to see all the white headstones. Some are very old. On Memorial Day they put a flag on every grave. It is a sight to see.

Yes, I was laying on my belly for a few of these shots.

Point Loma has some of the best views in San Diego. The Pacific Ocean on one side and the San Diego harbor on the other side.

And there is the BEST city in the world!!! (It's MY blog...I can say that if I want to!)
