I'm sure most of you are sick of puppy pics and movies so if you are this is a warning that this whole post is of Kassie and the beach.

This first video is when we first got to the beach and Kassie took off running every which way.

Kassie did a lot of running. She's tuckered out.

This video is a little longer then the others but it shows Kassie running straight into the surf. She's chasing another dog who is chasing a ball.

Does anyone else notice that Kassie is way less afraid of the camera then she used to be? She actually sat for me to take a few pics.

This video shows Kassie's lack of interest in toys. She prefers to run after and play with other dogs.

A couple different dogs took a liking to my mom. This one kept sitting behind her or like this, practically in her lap. So funny.

Pez wants nothing to do with the spiders.

This is my nephew Johnathan who lives with his maternal grandparents in Dallas, TX. He is 11 years old now. He has gotten so big and grown up. What a cutie!

ME! (because it's my blog)

Getting on the treadmill is easier each time I do it. Go me! I love my itunes library and being able to make playlists. I used to have a playlist for working out with a bunch of songs I liked. But now I clear it almost daily and start over with new songs. And I can add just the right amount of songs for the time I want to spend on the treadmill. And of course, if I like a song so much that I replay it I will spend that many more minutes walking. For the record, weight watchers makes ice cream bars that are actually yummo. Only about 130 caleries. (just in case you were wondering) Fall still has not come to California. How many pumpkins you can stuff onto your front porch does not make it Fall. I think it is the weather that makes it Fall. And the changing leaves (which we do not have here).

Facebook...

It would seem I have more friends on Facebook then on Myspace. So I went and joined. If you have a Facebook account please add me to your friends list. For the record...I still like myspace better (for now).

I have a new job!

Not a real money making job! Instead, I am approaching my "getting healthy" as if it were a job. I made myself a daily schedule and everything. I am also making some menu's to help me stay on track as well as change things up for us. We are slightly bored by our regular routine. I am not using a weight loss program (for now anyway) but I am using slimquick as a help for metabolism. Most people would say not to do this on your own but I have done enough "diets" to give me the proper know how. It is a matter of doing it and sticking to it. I am using my blog as a way to stay accountable. So many things have happened this past week that I am counting today as Day number 1. And I have no more excuses. I don't work so I HAVE the time! I HAVE my water...tehe! We HAVE a treadmill! The treadmill is right next to my computer desk so I HAVE my itunes! When we went through our storage I found my workout videos (Abs, Arms & Lower Body of Steel and Yoga) Okay, I'm gonna go get on the treadmill right now.

It would seem as if I got tagged. What this means is I had to go to my pictures on my computer and open my 6th folder and post the 6th picture in that folder. My 6th folder happens to be daycare which is when I worked at Freedom Christian Academy's daycare in Knoxville, TN. In this picture is Lilly, Tommy and Teagan(in the car). Lilly was 23 months, Teagan was 20 months and Tommy was 28 months. Today they would be 4 and 5 years old. Almost all grown up. *sniff*

P.S. notice this was taken back when the playyard had rocks? Those dang rocks...hated them!

I finally get to wear a long sleeve shirt. At 1:53 PM it is only 69 degrees. The windows are open all over the house and it is only 67 degrees inside. No worries. It will probably be 80 tomorrow or the next day.

This picture is appropriate as I have 6 loads of laundry to do today (in my long sleeve shirt)!

Geez, I guess I need to start drinking the water now!

Well, things are starting to look up. We were able to put everything back together this morning. We put a plastic tablecloth under the carpet runner and some plastic under the water cooler. So far so good. The flooring is still a little bowed under it all but we are hoping it will go down in a week or two. Most importantly, Pez officially endorses the new water cooler!
