Here is a quick look into my life...well, my life today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little different. As we were moving, anything coming here to my moms was dumped in the family room...and left there. We were too concerned with the rest of the move which involved putting 90% of everything we own in storage. Well, by Sunday evening we finished with the move and had our walk through at the other house. I had no choice but to jump into this mess with both feet. I had to move this mess so the phone guy could get in to install our new line. So I moved it all to our bed.
And, here it all is...on my bed!...my inky dinky small queen bed. I already miss my king.
This is hubs mess by his side of the bed. I had to go through all this too.
This is what hubs made sure was hooked up and ready to go...immediately! Don't get me wrong. I appreciate it.
This leads to our bathroom. I still need to take care of that mess too. But wait,...scroll to the next picture...
This mess was worse than the last picture indicated. Yay me! (in my defense, a box fell over and spilled it's contents)
Aria is curious and checking things out. She's adapting well to the move.
Kassie is in denial and HATES the chaos. She spends all day on her bed in the living room.
Lucy, my moms cat, is a bully. She's been a brat through and through. She's mean to Aria! I would have taken a picture of my moms other cat, Pepper Ann, but she never comes out of my moms room. She's still upset about the death of her mate Simba.
So, if you are curious as to whether I got through the mess on my bed today...the answer is YES!!! Wahoo!!!

Guess what???

I found my camera today. Hopefully I'll be using it in the next couple of days. But first, I need to unpack all the junk currently on my bed. Our storage unit is crammed packed so it seems weird to have so much to unpack. I'm jealous of everyone who has gotten their Christmas tree up. Ours is sitting on the patio. Hubs just hasn't had the time to put it up for me. I think it will happen Saturday. We finished at the other house yesterday so it feels great not to have to go back. Mad props to my mom. She helped me clean it top to bottom and inside out on Saturday. The place looked stellar. No more goats and no more psycho landlord or even more psycho 13 year old son. Wahoo!!!!!!!

Ugh...no more stalling! Back to unpacking!

I miss my camera...

...so I took a break from packing yesterday and took a photowalk around my yard.

I can't wait for this move to be over so I can get back to blogging!

Stuff...

Updated: I'm also in for Golden and Bokeh!

Wow, I feel so honored. The photo Hunt Challenge is still posting more categories. I have made it to the finals in 5 categories so far. In disguise, Landscape, Fall tradition, Books, and Self-portrait. It will be interesting to see if more categories get judged and if I make it. There are so many awesome entries. This time instead of asking for you to vote for me I am just going to ask you to go vote for a favorite for all the categories. Click here to go vote. You can vote 3 times for each category. I don't think that the votes left in the comments section will count. Under the last picture in each category is a link. It will say "Favorite (whatever the category is) Photo Hunt Entries". That's the link! Click on it and it will take you to the poll. Be sure to remember what the number attached to your favorite picture is before going to the poll. If you voted for me for Books or Self-portrait then THANKS!!! I really appreciate the support. You guys are awesome. (I will let you know if any more categories get judged and I make it in.)

I most likely will not get to participate in November due to our move. My whole day is dedicated to packing, running stuff to storage, running stuff to my moms house, more packing, playing the wii and lastly, more packing. I have not had time to even look at my camera let alone use it. I cannot wait for this move to be over and get back to my regular mundane life!

And finally, if anyone is counting...or cares...or knows what I'm talking about...the number this week is 47!!! Almost half way to my first prize. I've changed it up. I'm going to get a netbook for my 1st prize. Yes, ring is still my ultimate prize(but I'm still a long way off)!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

What a week. We are in the middle of moving. Thank heavens because our landlord is the Wicked Witch of the West. With all the packing I have been doing I have not had time to go anywhere to get new pictures. Then, to make life worse, my computer crashed. We use an external hard drive as a backup but for some reason it shut down in October. I flipped out knowing I may have lost all the pictures I have taken in the past month. At the same time I feel so grateful that I did not lose everything. We took the computer to Staples to see if they can save my pictures. Hopefully I'll have them tomorrow. Luckily, I get to use hubs laptop in the evenings. I had to recreate my action in photoshop that adds my watermark. His laptop does not have all the same fonts so that is why my watermark looks a smidge different. I hope it is okay that I am joining this meme with all archived pictures. I LOVE going out to find pictures that describe the prompt words. I usually take pride in being able to do so. I just might not be able to get it done every week this month. December will be a new month and I will be settled in a new home. With that said, here we go...

Boo
This is my brother, sister and I when we were little peoples. My brother was a toasted marshmallow. We were Raggedy Ann. My sister and I won the costume contest that year. I was 3.
Black
This is the back of my swing. I thought it turned out interesting.
Texture
Yeah! So this bar(a hitching post) is on our property. There are no horses on the property! I liked the colors of it. I'm going to miss the craziness of this property. There have been many great photo ops here.
Wet
I captured this during a rainstorm. We lost power in the house so out of boredom I went outside between storms and took pictures of EVERYTHING. It was fun.
Language
This language should speak for itself. It is, of course, my husband and I during our wedding.
